As always, our dear friends at Google have found another way to appeal to price comparison shoppers. This time, a new ad extension will help advertisers showcase price information for their services and products. As consumers typically want to know how much a particular service or product costs before they consider buying, this ad extension will play a key role in the buying process.

As seen in the image from Google below, the price extensions will display right below your text ad and will only be available on mobile for now. Your ad also must be in the top position to include the extensions.

For example, if you are a car dealer who wants to display prices of your models or service discounts, this would be the perfect extension to use. Not only does it give you prime real estate, but also draws more eyeballs to your ad. As time goes on, however, the one concern is that the top ad position is going to become very competitive and cost-per-click will likely increase.
